This is going to be more effective than that $45 collagen cream that you got from Amazon. I promise. High protein diet this may be controversial to so many people but high protein diet plays a huge role in our bodies inflammatory response and fights off free radicals, which are the downfall of aging. If not meat then plant protein will keep you looking young! this goes along with consuming foods that are high in antioxidants and healthy fats like having an avocado a day itl keep your glow stay. Just think berries and foods that have vitmain an and c and e. Reducing caffeine intake is my biggest one ever coffee is the devil and I know some of you wanna punch me in the face for saying this. Caffeine can trigger a stress response that releases cortisol, a hormone that can increase oil production and break down collagen and elastin. Implementing bone broth can increase collagen levels in the body because it contains unprocessed collagen and can increase plasma levels of glycine and proline, which are amino acids that help the body form collagen this isn’t 100% proven but it won’t hurt and keep you healthy! my favorite for everyone and anyone sleeping on a silk pillowcase is crucial if you do not want your face to be crushed up like a raisin, forming lines and sagging the skin. Dry VS Dehydrated Skin The most common misconception is thinking your skin is dry but could really be dehydrated or vice versa! What to do for dry skin: Remember this is your skin type, it can be managed and treated. Dry skin does not have enough oils to protect the outer layer of skin which can cause a damaged skin barrier. Leading to redness, itchiness, and flakiness. Try switching your moisturizer and cleanser to something a little bit more richer and creamy. Your skin needs oils from the products to help give back what is lacking. Make sure you’re exfoliating at least 2 to 3 times a week and don’t forget into add your favorite facial oil to top your moisturizer with. Dehydrated skin : This is a skin condition and most people even with dry skin can suffer from dehydration. This means that your skin is not producing enough oil to the outer most layer of your skin. What you can do is treat it with beta glucan, hyaluronic acid, peptides, and even facial oil’s. Product order for your night time routine! Starting with a first cleanse (an oil based cleanser is crucial for removing any dirt oil and makeup from our skin and pores. This will ensure your main cleanser can actually do its job! Don’t worry these oil cleansers are suitable for ALL skin types depending which one you use. (Ask your esthetician which would be best for your skin type!) Your main cleanser can be a gel based, cream based, foaming, or treatment cleanser. You can have a basic cleanser and a treatment cleanser but always make sure you use them on alternating days ! Nights where you chose to use an exfoliating scrub, peel pad, or aha bha toner would be now! Make sure depending on your skin type you exfoliate anywhere from 2-3 times a week as long as it isnt to harsh or abrasive for the skin! Did you know sunscreen in makeup is usual only limited UVB rays which are one of two major UV rays you MUST be protected from ? UVB rays are burning rays which can cause major damage to the surface layer of your skin. Causing dehydration, pigmentation, peeling on the surface. A more serious side effect from burning rays are melanoma. UVA rays are aging rays which target the deeper layers of the skin causing accelerated aging, and wrinkles. These rays damage your collagen and elastin resulting in sagging skin, deep lines etc. Broad spectrum SPF 30-50 is your primary protection from the suns both UVA and UVB rays. Think of it as your makeup that includes a small amount of sunscreen in it is a screen blocking only some not all.
